Spinal cord stimulation practical course

All day-to-day aspects are covered: from patient information and preparation to perioperative organization before, during, and after surgery. Operating room issues (anesthesia, optimal patient positioning, scrub nurse role and collaboration, surgical tools and sutures) are addressed as well as operating complication management and patient follow-up. These aspects are crucial to the safety and success of the test period and definitive implantation. Target audience for this two-day course: pain physicians, anaesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, and all specialists interested in spinal cord stimulation.
