innovations in pain TRACT
WAPMU’s Interventional Foundation’s course offers a comprehensive agenda with didactic lectures and hands-on training sessions for Practicing Physicians and Fellows who are interested and/or currently working in the pain management setting. Expert multidisciplinary faculty from around the country will train attendees on evidence-based treatments for the management of headaches, WAPMU’s Underground Ultrasound program, Implantable Drug Delivery and Management and Treatments for Oncological Pain. Presentation topics include common and complex procedures/ interventional therapies, multimodal and multidisciplinary pain management approaches, radiologic interpretation, neuropathic pain management, and safe prescribing practices.
APP and Young Physician Tract
The 1-day Advanced Practice Provider (APP) course offers a comprehensive agenda with didactic lectures and hands-on training sessions for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who are interested and/or currently working in the pain management setting. Expert multidisciplinary faculty from around the country will train attendees on evidence-based treatments for the management of chronic pain. Presentation topics include common and complex procedures/ interventional therapies, joint and spine physical examinations, multimodal and multidisciplinary pain management approaches, radiologic interpretation, neuropathic pain management, and safe prescribing practices.

Fellows Registration
WAPMU provides the opportunity for Fellows to register for all WAPMU courses at a substantial discount. We will only accept 24 Fellow Registrations- MUST BE IN A FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM- Or Accepted into a Fellowship Program in 2025- We will need to Verify your Fellowship program after registration to attend.
Objectives
An in-depth training with both live and virtual didactic presentations and in-person cadaveric training. Expert faculty from around the country will train on Headache and Migraine Interventions, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Ultrasound Guided Interventions, Kyphoplasty, Targeted Drug Delivery, Spinal Cord Stimulation, RFA of the spine and joints, LSS, Cervical Dystonia and Chronic Migraine, Minimally Invasive Spine Interventions, Musculoskeletal pathology and Arthroscopy, Regenerative Medicine/ Orthobiologics. Discussion topics to include patient selection, surgical considerations, evidence and patient outcomes.
